National Media

Media examples from different countries reveal differences in identity, values and humor.

This BBC broadcast deconstructs the formality of news and exposes the complacency in watching news media with a bit of British humor.

Here is an example of German's making fun of themselves

In another instance German's created a commercial about Swedish life, to promote Ikeas located in Germany. The result however was not considered funny to the Swede's who banned the commercial.

And in France, discreet l'amour is the joke.
